Interbody Performance as a Method to Move Beyond Resentment
In collaboration with the Nanyang Sisters Theatre (TASAT Theatre), I describe in this article our playful practice of disrupting, disembodying, dynamizing and distilling affect towards resolving resentment.
I problematize Kuan-Hsing Chen's notion of inter-Asia introduced in Asia as Method by arguing that resentment, a matter of affect, must be resolved through affect rather than effect alone.
However, such resolution can only be realized through body-centered methods such as Interbody Performance.
